Due to the pandemic uncertainties Austrian Wine together with the Austrian Trade Commission London hosted again an “Austrian Wine Tasting – The Taste-from-Home Edition”. On 4 April 2022, wine experts had the unique opportunity to taste Austrian winemakers’ portfolios directly from their homes.
During the registration process, guests had the chance to select 12 Austrian producers, presenting 4 wines each, from a selection of 44 winegrowers present on the UK market. A few days prior to the event, the participants received the package with their selected wines. During the online tasting, winemakers were available for discussions and for networking on the online platform Brella. As an exciting supporting program and to get better insights of Austrian wine, three masterclasses were held online during the event.
