The wine trade fair VieVinum has developed into an extremely important platform for Austrian wine. The 2020 edition had to be postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Now, after a comprehensive process of evaluation, new dates have been set for VieVinum 2021.
VieVinum 2021: 29-31 May
From 29–31 May 2021, the event organiser M.A.C. Hoffmann, the Austrian Wine Marketing Board and Austria’s winegrowers will be inviting guests from all over the world to taste superb Austrian wines in the marvellous ambience of Vienna’s Hofburg Palace.
The biggest wine trade fair in Austria traditionally takes place every two years and is a fixed point on the calendar for many international guests and more than 450 Austrian winegrowers. Specialist lectures, as well as numerous side events presented by winegrowers’ organisations and the various regions, make a visit to the fair a unique overall experience.
VieVinum’s two-year cycle will remain in place, but will shift to the odd-numbered years in the future – so after 2021, the years 2023, 2025 etc. should be noted for VieVinum.
