In order to celebrate the re-opening of the gastronomy, Austrian Wine is proud to announce a specialized gastronomy promotion in order to award those restaurateurs who always go for Austrian wines! Let´s celebrate Austrian Wine by the glass (or by the bottle… or by the magnum) together!
As a special thank you, we are offering a trip to Austria to the bar and/or restaurant with the most creative promotion of Austrian wine. Participants will be required to register by October 31st to qualify.

The opportunity to share your passion of Austrian wine with your customers AND:
- The most creative promotion will be awarded with one invitation to the VieVinum Fair taking place in May 2022 in the heart of Vienna! (Invitation for one person only)
- Merch Pack: training materials, informational brochures, gifts upon request
- Digital artwork for use in newsletters, on websites and social media channels
- Promotion through online advertising and articles obtained through public relations initiatives
- Promotion and support on social media as well as inclusion in the official event and tasting calendar to drive new customers to your bar/restaurant
Here you will find all the valuable content for the creative design of your “Go for Austrian Wine” promotion.
What do we ask of you?
Because we are stronger together:
Offer a minimum of 4 different Austrian wines by the glass for at least 4 weeks during the promotion period (the selections can rotate and we will gladly assist you with sourcing of wines if needed)
Please register by October 31st including a short presentation of your planed promotion.
- Submit your wine list and promotion by November 30th
Optional:
- Host a restaurant event
- Display a banner/poster/placecard
- Offer specials to your customers
- Highlight these specials on your website, newsletter, Facebook and Twitter accounts, etc. Use #austrianwine and tag @austrianwineusa & @austrianwine
- Provide sales data of Austrian wine sold during the month at the end of the promotion to Austrian Wine (will be kept confidential)

You will have till November 30th to submit your executed promotion.
