Information on location and soil

Our small hometown Neudegg is not only the northernmost village in the Wagram wine region but it is also located among those at higher altitudes. The handpicked and carefully selected grapes grow on deep Loess soils, approximately 320 m above sea level. Together with a particularly tranquil climate and very little intervention in the cellar, Neudegg wines are charming, elegant and have a lot to tell.

Taste

Roter Veltliner Neudegg combines herbal spiciness and orange-citrus notes with hints of soft biscuit as well as honey in the nose. What a palate! Smokey-almondy. Juicy greapfruit, very straight forward and elegant.
