The single-vineyard “Poharnig” wines are powerful with muscular structure, enormous minerality and spicy aromas. The soils are mainly characterized by chalky schliere with sand and conglomerate inclusions (sea level of 390 to 450 m).

Smokey notes of flint stone, delicate grapefruit aroma, hints of gooseberries, some sting nettle, underpinned by herbal spiciness, tightly knit, crisp style, salty minerality in the finish
