Information on location and soil

At the Neusiedlerwald (forest) is the biggest coherent vineyard site in Spannberg. This did not come by chance: Because of the rolling landscape shape, it is not susceptible to frost and allways laid in the sun. Chernozem bedded on chalky loess provides a perfect initial situation, especially for fruity white wines.

Information on maturation

Harvested by hand and destemmed. Fermented at 17 °C (63 °F) in stainless steel tank.

Smell

Delicate green color in the glas. Its fresh green-grassy bouquet is reminiscent of gooseberries.

Taste

The racy acidity on the palate and a hint of green apples make our Welschriesling the ideal companion for hot summer days.

Food recommendation

Goes well with good traditional fare and cold cuts.
