from the Western part of Frauenkirchen. The soil is rich in Quarz with high iron content, the deeper layers are dominated by gravel and sand. The wine is deeply marked by the soil which leaving ripe and smoky impressions in the nose and full and soft flavors on the palate

Information on maturation

in big wooden casks, finishing on fine lees in order to obtain more depth, ripeness and stability in the wine

Smell

in the nose intense smell of nuts, slightly smoky and delicate spicy note

Taste

fresh and fullbodied on the palate, fine and creamy with long finish; a very fine classic style

Our Graue Burgunder is a classic partner for fish and light salads, but goes also very well with light meat dishes.
