Information on location and soil

Different microclimates, slope formations and soils, protective meadow edges and forests characterise the vineyards of this multi-layered, exciting site. The soils alternate between sand, gravel and gravel conglomerate with a low clay content and a low lime content. This is what makes the site so special: the soils store little water, which forces the vines to root deeply.

Information on maturation

The grapes were carefully harvested by hand at the beginning of October and selected directly in the vineyard. After a maceration period of 18 hours, the grapes were gently pressed, spontaneously fermented in large wooden barrels and aged for 14 months in large wooden barrels.

Food recommendation
