Information on location and soil

The Sauvignon blanc grows on the high plateau of the Hochwarth. The prevalent heavy red and brown lemons are formed by weathering from the tertiary basalt rocks.

Information on maturation

The Sauvignon blanc is macerated on the skin for 8 hours, fermented in stainless steel tanks and matured on the lees for 9 months. The grapes are exclusively harvested by hand.

Smell

Intense notes of maracuja, red peppers and gooseberry, combined with dried chamomile and mint.

Taste

On the palate, roasted almonds complement the dominant maracuja flavour. The powerful body is underlined by a mild, lively acidity and metallic minerality.
