Information on location and soil

The vineyard "Hausweingärten" is located in the neighbouring commune Loidesthal. The soil consists of a solid layer of Chernozem (black earth) bedded on loamy silt. Both the nearby March (river) and the continental climate have an influence on the wines that thrive there.

Information on maturation

Harvested by hand and destemmed. Fermented at 18 °C (64 °F) in stainless steel tank.

Smell

The golden yellow color and a unostentatious honey bouquet are characteristic of our Frühroter Veltliner.

Taste

The full-bodied and extract-rich impression at the palate is completed by the mild acidity.

Goes well with good and solid dishes.
