The Austrian Wine Marketing Board, Prinz-Eugen-Straße 34, A-1040 Vienna, supports and coordinates the efforts of the Austrian wine industry in terms of quality and sales. One of the primary goals of the Austrian Wine Marketing Board is to open up new sales markets and opportunities for Austrian winemakers by providing appropriate tools and measures and to strengthen networking in this sector.
The processing and use of the personal data provided by you is carried out exclusively for the following purpose (explained in detail in the data protection information) and based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a GDPR.
You declared your consent to the processing of the personal data voluntarily provided by you (title, first name, surname, email address, postal address, telephone number, fax number, company details) by the Austrian Wine Marketing Board for the following purpose:
- Periodic newsletters sent to you by email (e.g. about services of the Austrian Wine Industry and ÖWI Handels GmbH, Josef-Hafner-Straße 4, 2100 Korneuburg (ÖWI), press releases and general event information).
You can withdraw your consent for all or individual purposes at any time without giving reasons with effect for the future (e.g. by email to info@austrianwine.com). Further information, in particular on the storage period and your rights, can be found in our data protection information.
For the sake of clarity, we would like to point out that for email marketing, we use Mailchimp as a data processor. Mailchimp is based in the USA and thus in a third state without an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 (3) GDPR and without appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR. If you have given us your consent for the respective processing, the consent includes the transfer to such states. Kindly note that there is a risk that your data transferred may (in exceptional cases) be accessed by authorities in these third countries for control and monitoring purposes and that no effective legal remedies are available against this.
