Austrian Wine showed its presence in the gastro scene of Frankfurt. Over two days, 12 wineries presented their wines to selected sommeliers.

During the first day, 12 Austrian winemakers visited the 12 participating restaurateurs in Frankfurt. In a similar concept to speed dating, the wineries had the opportunity to present their business and a selected wine. This enabled all participants to get to know each other in an exclusive setting and to establish personal relationships.

On the second day at 11:00 am a masterclass was held by Sascha Speicher for restaurateurs . Afterwards there was a small tasting at which the winegrowers were able to show the German audience other wines from their portfolio. As the grand finale, there was a flying buffet during the tasting with all winegrowers and restaurateurs.
This trip enabled the winegrowers to get a good insight into the market conditions of the German city within a short time. The sommeliers, in turn, got to know the winegrowers and their wines in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.
