“Join the Austrian Wine Green Wave” - over 20 participating wine retailers on the West Coast of the USA followed this call and focused on selling Austrian wine in autumn 2023. Scroll down to the map and find all participating companies and their creative initiatives.
Austrian wines are on the move leading the way in the environmentally conscious viticulture. A stunning 22% of Austria’s vineyards are cultivated organically, making Austria one of the leaders in the organic practices. 95% of Austria’s wineries are family-run with the average vineyard size of four hectares. Austrian fine wines are a leading growth category in the US with fresh yet complex white wines, light reds, and sparkling "Sekt" wines.
