The Austrian Tasting - Online Edition comes to Germany. Austrian winemakers had the opportunity to present their portfolio to the German experts from the wine scene.
Austrian Wine hosted the very first Austrian Tasting - Online Edition in Germany. During the event, 400 experts from the sommelier scene, press and trade had the unique opportunity to taste the portfolios from Austrian winegrowers first hand. Each guest had the opportunity to make a pre-selection of 12 portfolios from 80 winemakers represented and not yet represented on the market. On the day of the event, a large virtual get-together took place. Wineries and participants met in the online tool Brella at the digital winemakers' booths to taste together and exchange ideas. In total, over 1700 messages were sent that day and over 363 meetings were held via the video chat.
