Austrian Wine presents the first ever virtual press trip. Jill Barth, freelance journalist from the USA, traveled virtually to Austria to visit wineries and the wine regions of Austria.
In order to prepare, Jill Barth received all the wines she would be tasting during the trip. On the days of the tour through the different wine regions, a camera accompanied Austria Wine into the wineries' tasting rooms and wine cellars. In this way, the journalist was able to talk directly to the various winemakers via a live stream and ask specific questions. To convey the feeling of a real trip, impressions of the wine-growing regions and vineyards were also captured and played out directly on the screen in the USA.
